How can you help me unless you're a specialist in my business?

There are lots of business coaches out there. Why are you any different?

Indeed there are. But here are some facts about us:

These are a few reasons, but also important is how well your coach can connect with and understand you and that takes a unique type of person. There’s just no substitute for coaches who love their work and love people and that’s why they help you get results.

These ideas aren't that complicated. Why can't I just do this myself?

You probably could do it yourself given enough time and effort. What we teach isn't exotic or complicated. However:

• It's not whether you can, it's whether you will. We talk to lots of people who intend to "do this stuff themselves." We call them a year later and they've invariably made no progress whatsoever. Let's face it, if you were going to make the changes on your own, you'd have done it by now.
• You'll have to use trial and error. It'll take much longer, you'll make lots of mistakes and the result may not be what you wanted.
• We're talking about your business, not a backyard swing set. Is it sensible to make something critical to your life and livelihood a do-it-yourself project that you've never tackled before?

You hire professionals because they have the tools and experience to diagnose problems and get results in the quickest, most cost effective way. Professionals eliminate the risk, expense and frustration of trial and error, and make sure the job stays on track and gets done. That's why people come to you, and that’s why they come to us.

I'm busy already. How will I find time to do all this work?

We won't kid you. In the early stages, you'll feel that your plate is even fuller than before. As you move forward, you’ll realize that you have plenty of time but it’s been consumed by tasks that you shouldn’t be doing. As you learn to shift these tasks to employees and systems, more and more time will become available.

I’ve tried consultants before and they haven’t worked. Why are you going to be any different?

We focus on teaching practical, proven solutions and helping you get measurable results. We don’t do pricey studies, don’t sell elaborate plans and strategies, don’t dazzle you with business school jargon. And we don’t do the work for you. Instead, we give you the skills and tools to solve your own problems and guide you through their implementation.
