The Standalone System Bootcamp
When I was in the corporate world, I didn’t like the high-priced consultants who’d swoop in, make a bunch of lofty recommendations, and then disappear without telling anybody how to actually DO anything. So nothing really changed Bootcamp focuses on giving you practical tools and training that create measurable results in a short time. In my introductory 7 step course I introduced the concepts of a standalone business. Bootcamp takes those 7 steps, sneaks in one more step, expands them, and gives you the step-by-step “how’s” to make them work in your business. If, that is, you’re ready to do whatever it takes to create the business and the life you want and do it in the shortest possible time. Does that sound like you? If so, let’s continue. Here the bootcamp schedule: Week 1: How to think and act, and feel like a Standalone owner: A standalone owner thinks about his business differently than one who’s trying to do it all. In this session I’ll explain the specifics of how to deal with any situation from a standalone viewpoint, way a standalone looks, acts, thinks and feels, and help you specify a long-range vision that you can actually use to run your business. Week 2: Really understanding finance: I’ll show you what your financial reports mean, what you should be watching (and what can be ignored), and how to use them to manage your business. All in plain English. Week 3: Creating an operating plan: Most plans aren’t relevant to the real-world so why bother? Because good plans tie day-to-day operations to your long range goal and are essential to running your business. I’ll show you how to translate the vision you created in week 1 into operating plans you can actually use. Week 4: Getting Control of Your Time: The first step in delegation is knowing where your time is going and why. We’ll do a time study (you’ll be amazed at what you find out) and how to determine which tasks you can offload first (sometimes within days) for maximum benefit. Week 5: Making Delegation Work: I’ll show you how to offload your work to your employees and know it’ll be done right every time. Sound good? Delegation is the key to a standalone business but there are specific steps needed to make it work. Week 6: How to build bulletproof Systems: We’ll walk through my step-by-step guide to creating checklists, standards, procedures, training, and documentation that let your employees get consistent results without you doing it all yourself (And I’ll give you my secret for creating dozens of systems rapidly without adding to your workload). Week 7: How to hire the right people: There are lots of great employees out there if you know how to find them. My process explains how to define exactly what’s needed for a position and the step-by-step hiring process that makes sure you hire only the best. Week 8: Monitoring, Tracking and Control: Your car’s gauges and warning lights tell you when all’s well and when to pull over. You need the same dashboard for your business. We’ll define Key Performance Indicators, how to set standards and keep your business performing to them, and how to create and use feedback loops. Standalone Bootcamp includes:
Now, this is a huge amount of information and tools, but that’s not really what Bootcamp is about. While it’s absolutely true that implementing just one or two of the processes in Bootcamp can add many thousands to your bottom line, this is really about creating a life that gives you freedom and prosperity; one that gives you a 30 hour work week, lets you go to soccer games, sleep at night, and take vacations. Take a minute and think about what those things are worth to you. My guess is that they’re worth a lot more than a couple of payments of $347. Total price for Bootcamp is $694, and I seriously doubt you can find a better investment in your business and yourself, IF you’re really ready to do whatever it takes to get what you want and deserve.
Note: My schedule only allows me to lead Bootcamps occasionally. I can’t guarantee when (or if) I’ll be able to offer another, so get in now before the door slams shut. Best,
